Why Tint Is So Important!
There are three main reasons people choose to tint their windows:
To Protect Your Skin/Health
It’s common knowledge that UV rays damage skin. But fortunately, there is a solution: window tint! This super protector blocks up to 99.9% of harmful UV rays. FYI: did you know that skin cancer mostly occurs on the left arm? And why? Because it’s the arm that’s mostly exposed to the Sun while driving. Let’s fix that!
To Reduce Heat/Save Your Engine
We’ve all gotten into a car and nearly burned ourselves on the hot seats. An effective film can greatly reduce heat entering your vehicle, thus keeping your engine from working overtime. Let’s fix that!
To Look Super Cool!
It’s extremely common to hear the words: “THIS LOOKS LIKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT CAR!” And contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to blackout your windows to enhance your vehicle’s appearance. A light tint (say… 32%) can add a sheen that will bring out the elegance of your vehicle. Remember — the darker the film, the more “hardcore” your vehicle will appear. So if your vehicle has you feeling naked as the day you were born: let’s fix that!
Why We Are Superior!
A few years ago, we fitted a strip of glass with three types of film: dyed, carbon, and ceramic. We then placed that glass outside in the blazing Sun — for five years. Results? The carbon and ceramic films kept their composure, while the dyed film turned purple. So… what did we do?
We discontinued the dyed film! We didn’t care that the dyed film was more affordable. We cared that it didn’t keep its promise. After all, how would we maintain our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Google? Our flawless rating with Angie’s list? Our job is to do the experiments for you, and to select the products that will help us to maintain our exceptional position.
Why is Our Film Superior?
As a consumer, you yourself may not know which films are actually “the best”, but — WE do! Did you know that one of the films we use is manufactured by a company that’s 115 years old? Of course you didn’t. But our nano-ceramic film, manufactured by Madico — is! We also use ‘Flexfilm’ for our carbon, ceramic, and nano-ceramic films. This powerful company gets down to the nuts and bolts of what a superior film is supposed to be. Both offer films with up to 90% heat rejection, and 99.9% UV ray protection. That’s why we use them; and have been for over eight years. Both companies are committed to producing the best products in the industry, and have proven to be top tier in their respected fields. So, as We are eighteen years old, THE THREE TINTERS Window Tinting is only committed to using products from companies that share our core values: quality and integrity!
Be wise. Advertise!
The Three Tinters now offers print graphics for vehicles and storefronts.
Perforated (see through) Vinyl
This type of printed vinyl allows advertisers to apply printed vinyl on windows, but still allow those inside of the vehicle or store to comfortable see out.
Where Can Vinyl Print Graphics Be Installed?
Answer: almost anywhere with a solid surface. Basically, if a sticker can be put there, so can vinyl. But for advertisers, glass surfaces, walls (including brick), floors and vehicles are the most common.
Comfort and Glare Reduction
Today’s buildings utilize more glass than ever before. The trend toward open floor plans, high ceilings and extensive use of glass has become the preferred standard. But glass windows are notorious energy wasters, making building owners and managers increasingly concerned about excessive glare, heat build-up and higher energy costs. Window film provides comfort. Reduces glare.
Temperature Imbalance Correction
Our film is a retrofit product installed directly to the interior side of the glass. It helps correct temperature imbalances between sunny and shady areas and it deflects harsh, uncomfortable glare reducing eye strain that is common while doing paperwork or viewing computer screens. Employees are more comfortable and more productive!
Our tinting finishes also help reduce heat lost by buildings when it is cool outside during the night.
Residential/Commercial Tinting Cost
That will depend on many different factors, like the type of film used, accessibility of the windows, and size & shapes of the windows. Windows high up, may require the building of scaffolds, while French windows require the cutting of many small patterns. Most residential/commercial installations start at around $7 per square foot, but the price can change, depending on the differences stated above.
Our residential tinting comes with a lifetime warranty, while most commercial films come with a 10 year manufactures warranty.
