Today’s buildings utilize more glass than ever before. The trend toward open floor plans, high ceilings and extensive use of glass has become the preferred standard. But glass windows are notorious energy wasters, making building owners and managers increasingly concerned about excessive glare, heat build-up and higher energy costs. Window film provides comfort. Reduces glare.
Our film is a retrofit product installed directly to the interior side of the glass. It helps correct temperature imbalances between sunny and shady areas and it deflects harsh, uncomfortable glare reducing eye strain that is common while doing paperwork or viewing computer screens. Employees are more comfortable and more productive!
That will depend on many different factors, like the type of film used, accessibility of the windows, and size & shapes of the windows. Windows high up, may require the building of scaffolds, while French windows require the cutting of many small patterns. Most residential/commercial installations start at around $4.50 per square foot, but the price can change, depending on the differences stated above.
Residential comes with a lifetime warranty, while most commercial films come with a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty.
